Shaped by Skill. Inspired by You.
A Firozabad studio where lampworking tradition meets contemporary design.
Glass that carries a maker’s hand
AJEN Scientific Handicraft began as a family torch shop in Firozabad — India’s glass capital. Today we are a focused atelier making spoon pipes, bubblers, character pieces and private-label runs for retailers across fifty countries.
Every cane is pulled on site. Every piece is annealed overnight, inspected twice, and signed before it leaves the bench. We work slowly on purpose: borosilicate rewards patience, and so do the people who collect it.
How a piece is made
Sketch & cane
Colours are mixed as solid canes, then pulled thin so every stripe stays true when it meets the flame.
Torch work
Artisans gather, twist and sculpt over open flame — no moulds for our signature pieces.
Anneal & inspect
Overnight kiln cycles release stress. Two pairs of eyes check finish, balance and clarity.
Pack & export
Foam cradles, double cartons and full documentation — built to arrive the way it left the bench.
People. Artisanship. Quality. Sustainability.
We train apprentices from Firozabad’s glass community, pay torch time fairly, and recycle cullet into clear stock. Longevity is our sustainability plan — pieces meant to last decades, not seasons.
